Blackbuck Antelope (Antilope cervicapra)

The Blackbuck Antelope is a native of India and one of the most popular exotic animals in Texas. In fact there are more Blackbuck Antelope in Texas than their native homeland. Blackbuck Antelope can reach speeds of up to 50 mph and are among the fastest animals on earth. Gestation period is 5 months with 1 young born.
